The 200 hour Hatha Yoga Course (RYS 200)




The Seasonal training course we have on offer consists of twelve modules which focus on Ashtanga Yoga as well as seasonal flow and Vinyassa practices. The course includes Asanas (postures), philosophy of yoga, purificiation techniques (Kriyas), breathing technique (Pranayamas), anatomy and physiology, Mantra, seasonal and vedantic meditation, Chi Gung, traditional energy practices, and the energy systems of the body. 


The course lasts a total of 200 hours and is designed to allow you to explore Yoga in more depth as well as the theoretical side. We call this course seasonal yoga as well give you advice on how to harmonize your body with the seasons and the energy in the outside world, and how to create balance in your lives from understanding Chinese cyclical nature. Seasonal yoga uses the understanding of the energy lines of the body and how they affect your mood, vital energy, your organs, and your mindset, allowing you to tune yourself to the world in which you live through the practice of yoga, your breathing, and your diet. The training will include the stuffy of the Indian and Chinese five elements and just how they relate to your lifestyle depending on which season it is.
You will also be able to experience different styles of yoga such as Hatha, Ashtanga, traditional, and seasonal flow, as well as some special types of yoga such as yoga with music and chair yoga. Also covered in the course are tips on how to market your classes, how to run them, and N.L.P.
Our seasonal yoga teacher training course exceed the standards set by the National and educational Yoga alliance at the 200 hour level. When you complete the course you will become a registered teacher of yoga. 

Each yearly course is made up of twelve monthly modules. Most of the classes will take place on Friday evenings as well as Saturdays, although there will be extra hours at other times during the week; please refer to the course dates for more details.
